I'm a librarian who loves anime, manga, and reading a wide variety of genres.
My manga-reading took a hit when the furnace suddenly decided to stop working. It's amazing how hard it is to concentrate on reading when you're really cold. Thankfully the furnace is fixed now.
I spent most of the year fretting about how high my reading goal is, but it looks like, with this vacation reading, I might be able to manage it. I'll be caught up after 38 more volumes.
I have a lot to choose from, and I know it's going to get to the point that I'm going to have to decide which series to ditch. At the moment, things aren't looking good for Are You Alice? I've only read one volume, and it feels like a more boring version of Alice in the Country of Hearts, minus the romance. "Alice" being a boy does not automatically make the story more interesting.
