Reading progress update: I've read 11 out of 321 pages.
I picked this up for free ages ago. The author has lots of books in the Smashwords sale, so I'm reading this to decide whether it's worth getting the rest of the trilogy.
So far, the writing is so-so. A couple characters mentioned in reviews intrigue me though.
