I'm a librarian who loves anime, manga, and reading a wide variety of genres.
I know pretty much none of the history surrounding any of this, so I'll be listening to this primarily as fiction, with occasional googling when I want spoilers for how things turn out for people or just want extra info on what's going on. I got through a historical K-drama that way. I cried while reading a Wikipedia page on a Korean queen who's been dead for hundreds of years.
