Reading progress update: I've listened to 3 out of 6 discs.

The Listerdale Mystery and Eleven Other Stories - Agatha Christie, Hugh Fraser

"Philomel Cottage" - Finished with Track 12 and this story. It took most of the disc. What did I just listen to? Seriously, what happened? I'm so confused. A woman becomes suspicious of her husband, first thinking that he might be cheating on her and then convinced that he's a murderer. I was pretty sure that the big reveal for this one was going to be that the wife had badly misinterpreted things. I'm not sure what to think about the way things turned out. Was I supposed to take everything that happened and was said at face value? Did he

die of fright or was her lie at least partly true?

(show spoiler)

I'm not sure how to rate this one. Maybe 1.5 stars? It kept my attention but I'm not sure what to make of the way things turned out.

Next up: "A Fruitful Sunday."
