Possible IRL book club pick
I was worried that the book club I'd attended had forgotten about me because I had to miss what would be been my second meeting, but I recently got an email about choosing between various books for their February meeting. Based on folks' responses, odds are good that the next book we'll be discussing is this one. I requested a copy via ILL so I could get started on it.
I like that it's short, and it sounds interesting, but I'm a little worried that it will include the sorts of animal stories that will make me cry.
