Monster - Christopher Pike

I just remembered the "Christopher Pike is scarily repetitive" blog post. Here are the things that would be checked on the chart for this particular book, at least based on what I've read so far:

- Detective (the Vietnamese police officer who's been keeping tabs on the situation, more than Angela realizes)

- Dream Sequence (Angela had a dream of being on a carnivorous alien planet where blood rains from the sky)

- Group Secret (the cheerleaders and football team are hiding things...)

- Illicit Sex (okay, this one is a bit of a stretch since sex hasn't happened yet, but Angela did make out with Mary's boyfriend)

- Shootout (Mary against the police - the officer was an excellent shot and got her in the hand)

I think the list should also include "Mystical Native American." I can think of at least a couple Pike books that have one. This is one of them. If I remember right, Weekend is another.
