I'm a librarian who loves anime, manga, and reading a wide variety of genres.
I just had a conversation with my mom, in which I tried to explain to her that I actually like spending my vacation reading. We have this same conversation every time I visit. For some reason she thinks I'm somehow bored around all these books. At the moment, I'm debating whether to read Rachel Bach's Fortune's Pawn next, or C.J. Cherryh's The Pride of Chanur, and I still have lots of manga volumes.
The one sad thing about this trip: in the end, my sister and youngest niece couldn't make it. I was very much looking forward to seeing them both.
