Dune - Frank Herbert, Simon Vance

"...her body tortured by the winds of puberty..."

I'm guessing Herbert didn't intend for this to make readers laugh, but I did anyway. The "winds of puberty"? I better never hear a Herbert fan make fun of romance novel writing.

This audiobook is kind of weird. I thought the whole thing would be read by a full cast, with one person as the narrator, and different men and women reading character dialogue. However, right now I'm in a section read only by Simon Vance. I think Jessica's dialogue was read by a woman only a few tracks ago, so it's kind of jarring. The metadata is odd too. It looks like each track lists the cast members involved but, if that's so, who's this "Toto" that's listed next to most of the tracks?
