A Hero at the End of the World - Erin Claiborne, Jade Liebes

Whenever I have a library book checked out, it seems like all I want to read is everything else. But I need to hunker down with this one, because it's due on Wednesday and there are no renewals allowed.

I really do want to find out how this one ends. It pokes fun at "chosen one" stories (with great gobs of Harry Potter). Basically, it's like if Harry Potter had been too scared to take on Voldemort, and his best friend, a combination of Hermione (brains) and Cedric (good looks), swooped in and took care of it instead. Then fast forward the story 5 years: Harry's scraping by and working at a coffee shop, bitter that his great destiny was stolen from him, and Hermiodric is working as an Auror.
