Ancillary Mercy - Adjoa Andoh, Ann Leckie

Comments so far:

- The Ghost Gate ship has spoken! This is one of those characters Andoh voices with more audible emotion than I imagined when I was reading the print version.

- The

"Ship doesn't love me! Because of course that could never happen. :((((("

(show spoiler)

scene (right at the beginning of the book, so not really a spoiler, but I included spoiler tags anyway) is even better the second time around, now that I know more about what's not being said. But also a little weird, if I think about it. Seivarden is in a very odd position here.
