Am I hearing this right? A planet called "Barstool"?
This book is okay, but not quite what I was hoping for/expecting. Lots of exposition, with a brief period of Stephanie adventuring without telling her parents, interrupted by her being gravely injured because she forgot about an important bit of planning that her dad usually took care of for her. I had thought that the adventuring part would last a bit longer. But at least the whole "empathic bonding with a treecat" thing finally happened.
