Elfquest!

— feeling excited
The Art of Elfquest - Richard Pini, Wendy Pini

I got some goodies in the mail today, and this was one of them. I hate that the jacket's a little dinged up, but I'm not unhappy enough with it to want to deal with getting a replacement.

I really shouldn't buy art books, because they tend to be bigger and fill up space that could be occupied by all my fiction, but I couldn't resist this. Just flipping through it makes me miss the full-color Elfquest volumes I read when I was a teen. I did end up breaking down and buying a couple of the black-and-white editions (still need to read and review them), although I'd probably rebuy them in color if those editions were ever rereleased.

Anyway, I figured I'd share a couple pics of The Art of Elfquest. It's so pretty. ::sigh:: I remember adoring that image of Savah when I was first reading the series.
