I went to see Zootopia

— feeling happy

[Non-book post ahead.]

The hype and fan love convinced me to go see Star Wars: The Force Awakens a couple months ago, and...I was underwhelmed. I didn't hate it, but I loved the fandom output way more than the actual movie.

Fast forward to now, and Zootopia. I'd probably have seen The Force Awakens without the hype, but Zootopia was another matter - that annoying DMV clip that was used as its theatrical trailer killed any interest I might have had in it. But then the hype and the fan love started, and I live in small town with very little to do, so I figured, eh, why not? And I liked it. This time around, the hype and I are in agreement.
