2016 Hugo Award finalists...

I saw some confusing Hugo comments, so I took a look at the finalists for this year.

Quickie reactions:

- Ancillary Mercy, yeah!

- I have the audiobook of The Fifth Season, which I still haven't listened to. And I have Binti, which I still need to read. I need to bump those up.

- I saw mentions on Twitter of a fanfic of Rachel Swirsky's work being on the ballot. I'm going to guess that's "If You Were an Award, My Love." Huh.

- CHUCK TINGLE. O_O

- I've seen three out of the five movies and was "meh" about all of those three.

ETA: I just noticed that My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic is on the list. I haven't looked up this year's slate, but I'm going to guess it was responsible for this one, too. ::sigh::
