Fox's Bride - A.E. Marling

"She had taken care to organize and schedule her life around her sleeping condition. Marriage to a small carnivore in no way fit her plans."

It's been a little over a year, but I'm finally getting back to Hiresha, the Elder Enchantress who falls asleep at the drop of a hat. The first book was a 3-star read - we'll see how this one works out for me.

Hiresha really isn't very lucky. The one man she's attracted to (and who she can consistently stay awake around) practices dangerous and illegal magic, and now she's been chosen as the next bride of a god in the form of a fennec fox. I think all of the god's previous brides are dead, which doesn't bode well for Hiresha.
