Weekend (Point Paperback) - Christopher Pike

So far, this has all the high school drama I could possibly want. I'd need a diagram to properly depict all the relationships, and there was a past incident that could have come straight out of a teen movie.

Besides the drama, there's also been:

  • An old man with a mysterious warning
  • The possibility that one girl has died and another girl has been pretending she's still alive, because telling the truth would be too awkward. Okay, so she's not actually dead, just on dialysis. The bit that made me think she was dead was just confusingly and dramatically written.
  • A snake attack

I did have to Google one word that turned out to be a racial slur, though.
