Book shopping therapy

The past couple work weeks haven't been great. The first week was busy and exhausting, and the second week was stressful and exhausting. Since I had a day off I needed to either take or lose, I decided to do some book shopping therapy today.

I had intended to show some restraint and only get books by a few authors if I could find them. That plan was torpedoed when I came across a few excellent selections of Japanese light novels, as well as a bunch of James White's Sector General books (each less than $2! I wasn't sure which ones were in the omnibus e-books I owned, so I got them all). The "clearance" section also had some ridiculously cheap Antique Bakery volumes I didn't already own, which means that my collection is now only one volume away from being complete. I didn't list those below, but I feel that it's important to note that the covers are scratch 'n sniff, or at least used to be. They're old, and the scent has worn off. Sad.

Now I just have to hunker down and read. I haven't been doing a lot on my off time lately except sleeping, so both reviewing and reading have taken a bit of a hit lately. It never fails - I buy the most books when I'm least capable of sitting down and reading them.
