Now I can get started with this series at any time. Just flipping through this first volume, I can tell that Furuya took some liberties with the story, beyond setting it a few decades later. It looks like Furuya skipped or condensed a lot of Yozo's childhood years in order to get to his teen and college years more quickly. Oh joy. -_-
