I'm a librarian who loves anime, manga, and reading a wide variety of genres.
My two biggest complaints about this book so far are that nothing much has happened (Asano and Miku have gone out to eat several times, and they've had one karaoke outing) and that the POV character, Asano, is very bland and boring. Even he admits that he's boring.
There does seem to be a mystery brewing, as far as Miku's origins/creation go, and Miku is beginning to get rebellious. It's a very weak rebellion - she's hanging out with Asano later than she's maybe supposed to - but it's something.
