Let's Talk About Love - Claire Kann

So far so good. The breakup scene at the beginning was awful and reminded me of a scene in Kate Aaron's Fire & Ice, although that one was much less well done and went places that caused me to quit the trilogy with only one book to go.

Alice refers to her various levels of aesthetic attraction as colors on her Cute Code. I can relate to this, to a certain degree, except for the bit where she saw Takumi and completely stopped thinking and being able to form sentences more than a couple words long. I hope she gets over that soon, because oof, so much secondhand embarrassment.

Oh, and Alice works at a library! I'm geekily hoping for library work scenes. Both Alice and Takumi work there, so I might get my wish.
