DNFing 20 minutes in

The Good Nurse: A True Story of Medicine, Madness, and Murder - Charles Graeber

Oh, that was fast. Twenty minutes into this 11 and a half hour audiobook and I'm DNFing it. My breaking point? The description of children in a burn ward as

"screaming, melted little people" that surgeons would later "open [...] like a baked potato."

(show spoiler)

Judging by a review I read, I could look forward to this level of description throughout the entire book, or I could just stop now. I'm opting to stop now.
