This is, I believe, my fourth time listening to this. I completely understand complaints I've seen about the names and pacing, but I continue to love this book anyway. I worry that the eventual sequel will disappoint me because I won't be able to help but compare it to this, the same way I couldn't help but compare Ann Leckie's Provenance to her Imperial Radch trilogy.
