Reading progress update: I've listened 347 out of 761 minutes.
I'm back from the car dealership and will have to go back again next week. The part should arrive in a couple days, and I happen to have next Friday off as well (their service center is only open on weekdays), so hopefully everything will be taken care of before I go on vacation at the beginning of next month. On the plus side, it's lots of audiobook listening time, although I would have preferred to spend my days off at home, reading a book, struggling to write reviews, or watching TV.
Would you believe that the investigation aspect of this book has only just begun? Luca (Mr. Love Interest) and Sorina have questioned a grand total of one person. I think Luca decided the man was a possible suspect because he associates with shady people and happens to have a special ability, but those reasons are ridiculous because that would mean most of the residents of Gomorrah are suspects. I either missed a detail, or the author just threw a possible suspect out there and hoped no one would notice that Luca essentially picked someone at random.
