Reading progress update: I've read 359 out of 359 pages.
Done! I preferred the romance aspects in this more than in the first book in the series, although a little less sex would have been nice (at the opera? seriously?). The overall story was better in the first book, though. The stuff with the referendum was resolved in a fluffier, happier way than I could quite believe.
All the characters from the previous books and stories got cameos in this one, and I still have zero desire to go back and read Portia's book.
Now I've earned $3 and can roll again!
