The Forbidden Game: The Hunter; The Chase; The Kill - L.J. Smith

Assuming work doesn't kick my butt too much this week, this should be a quick read.


I somehow forgot that this featured a Jumanji-style game set inside a creepy Victorian paper dollhouse made real. My memories of the amusement park might not be totally off base, though, looking at the original covers for the trilogy:





Ah yes, the days when all the YA novels I read had covers in bright neon colors, with as much detail crammed into them as possible. Judging by that Ferris wheel, it was the third book that imprinted itself most strongly in my memory.
