I'm a librarian who loves anime, manga, and reading a wide variety of genres.
One of my electrical outlets stopped working last night - even the test and reset buttons wouldn't work. But I lucked out and got the really good maintenance guy and it's fixed now.
Next up: internet problems. My speed dropped to about a sixth of what it should be last night before finally becoming nonfunctional. This morning, it was working again, but super slow. I now have an appointment tomorrow morning for someone to come by and hopefully fix it (could've done today, but I'm expected to be at the library), but with social distancing procedures it's going to be interesting to say the least. The company currently has a policy where they start with seeing whether it's an issue outside your building, and if it turns out to be something they'd normally have to go inside for, they'll leave equipment on your doorstep and then talk you through what to do over the phone. If you can't manage to fix it with help over the phone, they reschedule you for another visit "at a later date." Not sure when that'd be, or whether you'd still be expected to pay your normal internet bill in the meantime. Crossing my fingers really hard that it's an issue that can be fixed outside.
